Six Sticks

Learning Goals: Spatial Sense, Number Sense, Creativity
    • As a whole class, read the book "6 Sticks" by Molly Coxe.
    • Ask your students: "What can you build with six sticks?" and encourage them to brainstorm all the options. 
    • Provide your students with the sticks and allow them to be creative with their designs. 
    • Optional: take a photo of each creation and have the student share with the rest of the class.
