Coding Maze

Learning Goals: Math, Spatial Reasoning, Coding

    • Introduce students to spatial language such as up, down, left, and right. 
    • Create a maze on chart paper that leads to a treasure chest.
    • Have students take turns using spatial language to describe how to move on the maze grid.
    • Provide students with their own large grid paper, and encourage them to create their own maze.
    • Students can take turns using spatial language to get through their peers' maze.
